Remembrance Tree 2021
The Drogheda Rotary Club in partnership with the Drogheda Soroptimist Club will again run the Remembrance tree project in the week up to Christmas. The two locations are beside the Christmas Tree on West street and the Laurence Centre.
People will be able to write cards and attach them to ribbons on the tree.There will also be a GoFundMe page available and a facility to use ˋTap and Go‘ for donations at the respective locations plus on-line.
Drogheda Hospice Homecare, Special Olympics and the Meals on Wheels charities will benefit from this year’s efforts.
Rotary Club President Richard Berney is very grateful to the nearly 100 volunteers who will help at the two locations for the week and to Omega Signs who have donated all the signage.
Look out for us on West street starting on Saturday 18th December and the following day in the Laurence centre.
