The Rotary Club of Drogheda’s annual remembrance fundraiser is scheduled to run over six days, from Thursday 17th December to Thursday 24th December 2020 In West St. Drogheda. It has been a regular sight in Drogheda over the past 13 years and has raised almost €160,000 for local charities.
For the first time this year we are using “Go Fund Me” technology to make it easy for members of the public to donate using their computers, smart phones and tablets. By visiting the Go Fund Me “Drogheda Rotary Club-Go Fund Me” web page it is simple to donate.

The President of Drogheda Rotary Club Karl Allen says “The idea behind the remembrance tree is to remember loved ones who are not with us this Christmas”. Karl also wishes to pass on a big thank you for the help and support provided by the members of Soroptimist International Drogheda for volunteering their services.
The Remembrance Tree will be operating from our temporary festive shed beside the spectacular Christmas Tree outside St. Peter’s Church on West Street. Display material for the collection point is donated by Omega Signs in Collon
Because of Government Guidelines and COVID Restrictions, Rotarians and volunteers at the West Street Desk will be accepting donations only. We are unable to complete cards for placement on the tree.
“Supporters can give a donation of any amount they choose and these donations will go towards local charitable services in our town,” said Julian Grant Rotary Club secretary.
